Weekend Fun!

We have been having lots of fun so far in Minne-soh-tah! Brett and I have gotten to sleep in and watch Emersyn interact with her grandparents; two of our favorite things!

Before my parents left Oregon to move to Minnesota, they tried to stock up on some things tax free (one perk of living in Oregon- NO sales tax!!). One thing they bought before Emersyn was even born was this sweet table and chairs. Brett set it up yesterday for Ems and all the future grandchildren that might come to visit in Minne-soh-tah. (I just can't help but spell it out that way!)

Emersyn and Grandpa enjoyed some snacks watching Daddy set up the table.

Of course Emersyn thought the box it came in was the coolest thing ever, especially once Grandpa showed her how the box could be like a tent!

Ems decides to help Daddy. He showed her how to use an allen wrench.

The finished product!

Ems has been playing hard here and wearing herself out at times.

Grandma, Grandpa, and Great Grandma Gigi all gave Emersyn their Christmas presents early so that she could play with them while she was in town and so that they could see her wearing the clothes that they gave her. Great idea!

Love this hat and gloves set from Great Grandma Gigi!

Sunday morning we woke up to TONS of snow! Daddy and Grandpa went out to snow blow and Emersyn was a little intrigued by their masks. :)

Boys love playing with "toys", don't they? :)

Ems and Grammy keeping warm!

Brett attempting to sled down the hill. The snow is so dry here that he didn't glide over the top but rather he bottomed out and didn't go far! Better then pulling a Chevy Chase and flying down the hill into the forest, that was my worst fear!!

Today Uncle David gets here, we can't wait to see him!!! (And my makeup bag....I look like a monster!!!)

Happy Monday!!

Looks like a lot of snow and lots of fun! I highly doubt you look monstrous without your make-up, however, I can imagine how happy you will be to have it back!

Its funny that you spell it that way, as silly as it it-thats the way it pops into my head when I read it. :)

Seriously, I know I tell you all the time but your daughter is just about the cutest thing ever!

How fun! And what a good idea to give the presents early. She doesn't even know the difference :) I'm so glad you are having a great time. Love you!
