Miscellany Monday

{1} Lord help me but I think we're going to exchange our car tonight for a new one. It's a long story, one that I don't care to go into for fear of exploding out of frustration but I'm feeling at peace about our decision. I normally don't believe in buying new but this is 25% off of MSRP and we plan on having the car maybe even until Emersyn is driving, how strange of a thought is that?

{2} Only 32 days until I'm done working outside of the home!!!

{3} I am excited about some things that the Lord has in the works right now. I'm beginning to see life as a full circle and realizing that the promises that God had for me as a young girl are still true...it's just a timing issue.

{4} Any kind of stain ruins my day. I stole a quick bite of Emersyn's mac'n'cheese before I packed up her lunch and dropped a noodle on my shirt which is now stained. I can't stop obsessing over it. UGH.

{5} I need to get some holiday pictures taken. I'm hoping my friend James will take some of us since I am too cheap not a fan of paying for pictures. I think because Brett can take great pictures it's just hard to pay someone else. But obviously Brett can't take a good picture of the three of us and even on a tri-pod, we need a friend to distract and make Ems smile. (This will be your job Rachelle). :)

{6} Speaking of Rachelle, I am excited to get my craft on with her this Friday. We are making this holiday wreath.

{7} I cannot believe Thanksgiving is next week. I am making a green bean casserole, Pioneer Woman style. I can't wait to try something new! I'm also excited for her throwdown with Bobby Flay this Wednesday night, are you going to watch it?

{8} My husband is now a sushi fan. Dreams to come true people. They really do.

Oh, oh, I want to get my craft on, too! That wreath is GORGEOUS!! Please make it soon and post pictures and play by play, if it's easy enough I'll make one, too. I'm thinking Duck colors? My post tomorrow will have a nice craft that Ems would love, but it's not nearly as fancy as yours!

Oh good luck with the car situation! That is such a tricky one! Mac and cheese stains are some of the worst! Have fun being crafty!!

Thanks for your thoughtful comments on my blogs. They were tough ones to write, but helped me to purge those thoughts from my being.
