{1} Today's Miscellany Monday is being brought to you live from the Oregon Coast where I am visiting Brett's aunt with my kiddos and MIL. I slept until 10am here. I cannot remember the last time I slept that long. I think I'm going to move into Aunt Dixie's house, the place where sleeping in occurs.
{2} Emersyn went to a princess tea party last week with her preschool besties and it was too cute. These girls are hilarious and so often their moms and I get glimpses into how they will be as teenagers and it's scary.
{3} I'm so thankful to have a little boy to be rough and tumble with and a little girl to paint nails with.
{4} Last week we went and saw the "Hunger Games" with a group and my friend Vanessa outdid her self with themed printables. I nearly blacked out with joy. A themed girls night blew my mind.
{5} Apparently there is a woman in San Diego that seems to think that her email is the same as mine. I feel like I've gotten to know this woman. She apparently has a relative in jail that she regularly transfers phone credits too, I get confirmation emails whenever she does. She's currently in the market for a new car. She recently subscribed to Better Homes and Gardens. I was initially irritated by the emails but now I feel like I know this other Patti Jensen in San Diego.
{6} I'm so thankful for technology that allows my daughter to have lunch with her MN grandparents!
{7} This weekend I made Everett's first batch of homemade baby food. Avocado/bananas and peach/bananas. It was so much easier then I thought it would be but didn't make as much as I would have liked!
{8} Easter place card holders are starting to grow their grass!!
{9} I tried and succeeded at a Pinterest Easter craft, whoo hoo! These eggs turned out pretty cute!
{10} I don't understand unfashionable people that insist on wearing uncomfortable shoes. You know, the ladies that wear mom jeans to the grocery store paired with stiletto heels. Why??? I know those shoes have got to be killing them and let's be honest, they aren't improving their look at ALL. I wish I could sit down and have a conversation with them and tell them to just say no to bunions and wear the slippers that truly look best with their slightly too short mom jeans.
{11} A good friend of ours sang a "United" Hillsong worship song at our wedding called "Saving Grace". Whenever I hear that song I am so so blessed and thankful for where my life has gone since I got married. Recently Emersyn found the CD and wanted to listen to it so we've been listening to it in the car. Hearing her sing the song that was sung at my wedding is so so special. Thank you Lord for your blessings in my life.

1) Super jeal of your beach sleep-in.
2) I blogged about girls night! That was so much fun and just what I needed last week.
3) That picture of you and Everett is adorable and you look super thin.
4)Ugh. High heels and Mom jeans - Just NO.
oh! And 5) Good job on the Easter eggs craft! So cute!
We make Adeline's food, it's so easy and much more flavorful than the jar stuff! :) Her expressions are so cute when she eats it too, so far she's loved everything we came up with. We did buy a book so we'd know when a good age is to introduce things (although not really necessary) and to know what went well together. Although we switch up the recipes depending on what we have. Hoping to do sweet potatoes this week, some with spinach too. Her daddy enjoys giving her fruits so she's lacking a bit in the veggie department!
Love your MISCELLANY MONDAYS !!!
Oh man. The thing about the moms in mom jeans w/ stilettos... HILARIOUS! You crack me up! I feel the same way about stuff like that though. I mean... really!
And the other patti jensen thing? So funny!
Love you girl!
Hi Patti! Do you remember Bridget Walker from high school? She wrote on her blog about receiving emails intended for another Bridget. I'd never heard of such a thing, so your experience made me think of it. You can read it here if interested: http://myadventuresintucson.blogspot.com/2010/04/life-observed-in-mistaken-identity.html
Keep posting pictures of those cute kids of yours!
