I admit I am impatient, but I know there are reasons and if it makes you feel better, from the research I have done 2.5 years to 3 years is a really great spacing for children. Remember it takes a body 18-months-to heal from pregnancy and birth and multiple pregnancies on top of each other will only increase the toll it takes. Also, I had a loooong bout of morning sickness and would have a hard time chasing after a crazy active boy, so I am glad nature has given me some time to enjoy my little guy. Now that I said all that, ha ha, I am definitely ready, my husband is ready and Jameson is fantastic older brother material. I love me some squishy babies to smooch!

That said, you make very valid points for both sides of the discussion. And just remember, the Lord will tell you when it's time.

And when it's time, I'm sure it will be "magical". Haha! However, Emersyn doesn't have to be in a big girl bed before you have another baby. :) We're using a bassinet and a Pack N Play for Rachel right now. If she outgrows those before we feel like Ellen is ready for a big bed, we'll buy a used crib off Craigslist and then sell it a few months later when we're done with it. Don't let that hold you back! That being said, it really is such a personal, individual decision. No matter what you do, it's the right thing if it is right for you. Good luck!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16878531533297640280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7591308797413006520.post-10945627896870246692010-01-12T20:41:59.643-08:002010-01-12T20:41:59.643-08:00Awww, this was sweet. I have the baby bug too, and...Awww, this was sweet. I have the baby bug too, and I'm totally with the Get 'er Done mentality. Ideally I'd like to have 4 kids by the time I'm 30. That would put them all 2-2 1/2 years apart, which I think is perfect. That way hubby can retire and we'll traipse all over the world and our children will be able to take care of themselves. (hehe!) Plus, considering Hubs is 8 years my senior, I don't think he wants to be 40 and still changing a newborns diaper. Not that it isn't done, but ya know. So anyway, yes. We're aiming for this summer. I did NOT enjoy pregnancy, and neither did pregnancy enjoy me, so we're just praying that pre-e and all that nastiness stays away the next few times.
I say go for it. :) Life is short. Children are a heritage. Bring on the babies!LeAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10360378882035668129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7591308797413006520.post-66206004526883015282010-01-12T18:43:48.101-08:002010-01-12T18:43:48.101-08:00Finally!!!
